Seasons wont change

Recently I was editing one of my routes and decided to see what it looked like in winter. Upon trying to change seasons again I found that my trees were stuck, some in summer, some in winter, some in snow and changing any of the environment settings in driver or surveyor does nothing. Anyone had this problem? Have tried cloning the route to no avail, season change with the same objects works fine on other routes.

You may have already thought of this, but how are you changing season? I use both seasonal trees and textures so I can switch to all-snow scenarios on the same layout. I change the date to a winter month for the northern hemisphere (I use the US region) and then lower the snow elevation to -100 to switch the textures to snow. I wonder if some trees change with the date, but also need the snow elevation - especially if they have a snow-covered version? If you're not changing both, perhaps some trees are not changing?
