SD40 post Dash2 conversions

I am looking for what changes where made to sd40-2 to convert them to sd40m-2 or sd40-3s, any raiload really...I understand that most changes were internal engine changes, but would still like some information on these changes
Any help is greatly appreciated

You really have to search for it because as I folloed history, some changes like the Dash 3s were not universal by railroad, one would do one set of changes and give it a certain designation such as Dash 3, another would do different changes and used the same designation.

Most of the Dash 3s I heard of were changes to tech stuff, nothing really external.

it really would depend on who made the changes. there is no standard for these conversions.

Yh CSX sd40-3 are the only one thats not only internal
I know the NS SD40E project, the SP sd40m-2 and ofc the CN sd40-3 one as well...just looking if people had specific information on specific projects.
