Screenshots Preserved

Content & Picture DVD
Hi

Would anyone be interested in having a DVD of screenshots people have posted?

Why I ask this question is that I have noticed the quantity there is and feel that they would look great on a DVD to view through your television.

The owners of the pictures would retain the full copyright to them and the owners would supply the original shot, it would not be 'saved' from the 'screenshot picture'

I have the skills to create such a DVD complete with a on screen menu structure so the pictures would be arranged into diferent catogeries etc.

These pictures could be retained and preserved.

I can also produce video of any recorded routes.

Would anyone be interested?

My idear was to produce a DVD with a large selection of screenshot pictures (all with the permision of the owners) which would be available for purchase at a price of £5.00 GBP + P&P (This would be for the disc, case and cover).

I know that there are a vast amount of screen shots around and to preserve them in this way the buyer of the disc would have memories to keep. Also with it being on DVD it would be great for friends who come around to view these works of art.

I have done this in the past for weddings, toy car collections etc and the people are very please with the results.

If needed I could record a presentation video and upload it to youtube if people would like that just to show what could be done.

Editing of all pictures are include in the price above.

All I need now is people to take me up on the offer.

All pictures would be tagged with the creators name (this would be displayed at the bottom of each picture)

Look forward to any interested parties

Kevin

Im not bad at making up close sceenes. Give me about a week and Ill be showin some good Turn of the last century shots.

Thank you for showing an intrest in this idear.

I want to go ahead with this so I will need as many users as possible to partake because I feel this will be a good way forward to preserve this great pictures.

So the next steps would be :-

1. Contact me by email at kevin@kj-trains.co.uk or visit our site at
www.kj-trains.co.uk

2. Tell us if you would like a personal DVD (only your content for your own
personal use) or tell us that you would like your screen shots (max 30
per user) to be included in our first DVD.

3. Email us you pictures (best done in the form of a zip file WinZip
prefered)

4. IMPORTAINT Your DVD player MUST be able to play REGION 2 DVD's
Please check this with your DVD You may be able to alter you settings
on your DVD If you have a DVD player that plays ALL REGIONS it should
be fine (we are trying to find a way around creating a DVD that will be
accepted on all DVD players)

5. We are looking towards putting approx 2000 pictures per disc (avarage
size between 1 and 2 mb per picture). That is why we want to release
a DVD disc every 2 to 3 months (Volume 1, Volume 2 etc) This gives
about 66 people (30 pictures each) to put there pictures forward for
each DVD

6. Once we have the amount of Pictures required we will then place the
DVD on sale on our web site.

7. All credits will be given on the DVD to all people who have submited
pictures

I think that about covers everything if I have missed anything please let me know.

I am producing a demo disc over the weekend and will upload it to our web site so that people can see what the DVD would look like.

Please let us get as many users as possible for this venture

Thank you all

Kevin
