Hi FSP,
it is a normal track (created by me) lowered in the terrain but with a ballast spline for make the "dark effect" near the rail (created by me too). You can see it better here:
It's a simple idea that I saw in Quattro Studios's site but it's like good.

Good evening everyone.
This is my first submission to this thread for a couple of months.
I’ve been browsing through the dozens on submission. Very nice shots everyone. The bar seems to get forever higher!
This shot show a few recently acquired wagons placed on my Italian route. I’ve extended the route and based this part on the province of Tuscany.
It’s not geographically correct because it is too close to the Ligurian area which I am modelling.
This area is inspired by the mountains north of Pisa, close to where the marble is mined in Carrara (I've yet to build that bit!).

There isn’t really very much there.
I was looking for a location to place a tracking camera. The textures looked good at that point giving the impression of a shaded foreground with light playing on the gap in the fence, which I moved a bit to highlight it. The light on the ends of the trucks pick up some nice lighting as well, illuminating the middle distance.
Pure luck really. The textures just fell that way.
Another happy accident!
