Screenshots of European Trains

@thepacesetter/Alex: the catenary system has been made by trainbernd. It is available from DLS and from his website http://dfls.flofrabahn.de/news.php
You also find tutorials on his catenary on his website.

(Btw, in my opinion it would be appreciated if you could avoid using abbreviations in the international sections of the forum. Not everyone here is native English. It took me half an hour in Google to find out what OHLE means.)

Ah, my apologies about the abbreviation. I find that I just tend to natually use certain terms, being familiar with that particular usage. I should've really added a set of brackets with the explination in it.

Thanks for the reccomendation anyway, I have been looking on the DLS, as of recent, but found nothing, despite trying the common words. Just a tiny bit hard to find what one wants on there anyway, unless certain keywords are known.

Somebody asked for more trams

I did not imagine trams to be so much fun to work with, but indeed they are. Here is a tripleunit downloaded from amonst the many available at TRS Bingen Nahverkehr

Congratulaions to these outstanding pictures above and many thanks to the creators for sharing them with us.

Below a small German station which was downgraded to a mere stop and the two waiting tracks were removed/cut off.

Yes, but mostly only statically, I am afraid...:( I can easily imagine poor FPS rates looking at those wonderful screens.

Depends on the equipment. I get 30+ fps on my laptop running in native mode in full HD with all sliders maxed (I love my new toy!)

On the other hand I primarily use the little layout to display my own creations static and in motion, so I intentionally aim for a maxed out visual experience. If I were more into driving the trains I would probably also use less "trimming" and focus on the right "feel" rather than look.
