Screenshots of European Trains

Buon giorno a tutti!

Hi everyone.

A couple more from my Italian route from the hills above Portovino and the Ligurian coastal railway.

One from a hotel rooftop at 2pm.

Second taken in the evening from one of the older run down properties. Time the old lady had a clear out!

Cheers

Ciao Mezzoprezzo,

is this Trainz or "The Sims"

@spikerod

good to see you back after your computer crash

regards Jean-Paul

Thanks for your kind comments everyone.

Hi Jean-Paul
~snip~ is this Trainz or "The Sims" ~snip~

Still laughing!:D

Damn! I hadn’t thought of that. I need to get them out of my route a bit quick. Trainz Simz Goez to Marz must not be encouraged!

My nieces liked it though (the pool, not the loco). I guess there's something here for everyone.

mezzoprezzo, no idea how your computer can cope with all that detail!
Pretty hard to compete along side you guys but...
~nice images removed to prevent double posting~

My PC isn’t particularly high end by todays gaming standards. Core 2 dual CPU 2.6GHz 32bit procesor. 3gb RAM. ATI Radeon HD2400PRO graphics.

It does stutter, but only in heavily built areas. Fatal error/access violation crashes do occasionally happen – but that is usually to do with a dodgy asset. Most of my route is far less densely populated. I just like to have a few highly detailed sections for the static or panning cameras to follow.

Don’t sell yourself short scratchy. Your work is really good. IMHO your shots above have really nicely placed and framed assets with very thoughtful texture placement. The rusty bridge parapet and log wagon are really well framed in your shots. Keep ‘em coming.

@ vendel.
I’ll take the pom-pom kitten dancers as a compliment (kind of Simz related though!)
I love your work Ian. Where would we be without all of your, and the other fine creators, fine assets to play with. It makes the Trainz sim a joy to work with.

Sorry for my bad english ;)

So , It adds a special entry to a text file selected textures containing alpha, which makes the scenery objects are sharp.

@ Zwinny

Thank you Adam.

Thanks also for the site link at the bottom of your post. You have some interesting looking downloads there!

Thanks mate,
gonna really try and put some time into this one, get it fully textured and "treed". the caternary is definitely not as fun as everything else, can be a really pain with all the variations!

Looks fantastic. Looks like Swiss or Austrian Alps. :)

Great shots all.

Quick question - What would be the best site(s) for getting any European Loco's, Multiple Units etc? as since I have started reading this thread I have had the erge to start building European routes but nothing to run on it. :(
