Cheers Epo:)

Thanx.....If you look down the line, you can see that whatever trains go down that line, will be swallowed up by the beast of the storm

HEHEHE.. I use to have one of those beast under my control.. It was called a helicopter and the storm was underneath it. It didn't fly worth a ding but it sure was good at beating the air into submission.

Great shot as usual there Epo. I just wish the color red and jpgs got along together better.

Main Yard on the Huron Central Subdivision. Every freight car in the yard and every freight car on every train has a specific destination. Window in upper left displays data for car on which the camera is currently focused. Gives yard operations a real purpose. Notice Eastbound freight departing the far end of yard track 3. A westbound freight has just arrived on track 1. The next westbound train is being made up on track 4 and a northbound on track 2. Cars for the CMStP interchange are on track 5 and cars for the SOO Line interchange are on track 6. Cars for subdivision industries are on track 7. Era is mid 1950's.
The local northbound passenger train has turned his engine and is waiting for his 10:20 time to go to the station and depart at 10:30.

Heres some good old fashioned Rocky Pass Railroad. Notice the Union Pacific locos? Typical of me... :o

I think the yard looks great and having cars in the yard with destinations (not just eye candy) super.

Would you like to have the Car Destination & Traffic Management System for your route?

Poland - Kokowice to Ciemne layout by kacperkgl......:)

A line of graffiti strewn locomotives lie abandoned in the freight yard.

Cheerz. ex-railwayman.

PRR Pitcairn Yard

Laying yard throats on a curve, is a real chore, indeed !

That is indeed a fine job of trackwork. Now you need to modify the "trackside" dimension in the config to get those switch machines located centered between the track. ;)
