Scrapbook Issue

I have saved several scrapbook pages, some with houses and some with trees.

I open a route/session and then use the paint brush to copy a scrapbook page to the session. It does so, but I get patches of water all over the route. I can get rid of the water by going into the effect layer and disabling the water layer.

But this, I am sure, is not the correct way of handling the water issue because if I want to add a real water feature, I have to have the water effect layer active.

Any ideas or thoughts on this issue?

First thought would be turn off pasting Effect layers in the scrapbook filter.
Next option is to R-click > Delete the water layer if you're not currently using it.

Thanks, turning off the effects layer in the scrapbook filter fixed the problem.

The question I have is how did the water layer get into the scrapbook to begin with? I copied all the assets which i put into the scrapbook from a bare baseboard with nothing but the assets I wanted to copy to the scrapbook. No water in sight on this baseboard.
