SCRAP... SCRAP...

Anyone know where to get some SCRAP stuff? Any kind. SCRAP locos, rolling stock, scenery, ANYTHING!?!

Basically you could always reskin. If you are a bit more precise that might help, time period, US, UK narrow guage etc.

Cheerio John.

OK, now, how should I explain this...

1. I REALLY don't know how to reskin that well...
2. I mean SCRAP itself. Not stuff that holds SCRAP.

I assume you have tried typing "scrap" into the DLS?

Alien3 has some scrap cars, and cmburgess made some scrap (UK) locos.

For run down areas (scrappys aren't known for flowerbeds) placing some grass/weeds on the floor adds an extra effect - look for some of that as well .

OK name a couple of items you'd like with kuids. Reskinning to rust isn't that difficult, and you never know some one might do you a reskin, but before doing it they would probably like a clearer idea of what your requirements are, rusty US cars or rusty european cars?

Yes that's what he means. The whole tone of your posts is a bit offensive imho. Maybe try toning them down a little and being much more civil, you are asking for a favour after all, no matter how desperate you are.

Anything. Nothing specific.

Yes, I began making my own scrap. Bits and pieces of this, that and the other, classifying as lineside structure or sign, and as John Wheelan said earlier, I applied rust to some reskins. It was easy to do once I found the dual texture brushes in Adobe Photoshop 7.

Great fun, I made my own workshops. Took bogies off bodies, and dumped them all over the place, got other wagons, repainted them to show rust/wear/tear, placed them on sunken invisible track to show them off-track, sinking into the grass...

Try these KUIDs:

Have you dumped any of it on the DLS?

I have all the top 4, the last is incorrect (not real). Man, that's one long KUID.
