Scary start to the day

I would hope a decent repair shop would be aware of this but possibly the files have gone read only, failing that maybe the file allocation table is partially screwed up on the old drive or it's finally died before they could get Trainz off it, not uncommon with a large copy off a knackered drive.

I waited around at the shop for a couple of hours. Had to leave to pick up the wife. The fellas was almost finished when I left. He thinks he saved it all, we shall see when I pick it up. Thanks for the info, strangely, all you've said is starting to make sense to me. Forgive any mistakes, I think I left my reading glasses at the shop.
