saving isnt working

Thanks for reading.. After working in surveyor, and saving my work. I close out Trainz. The next time I open surveyor either none of my past worked is saved or just parts have been saved. If I close down Trainz and reopen, sometimes my work will reappear, sometimes not
Please help..lol

Are you from Randolph Mass?

Try running your game as administrator and that should take acre of your problem.

When shutting down, wait about 5 minutes before restarting or rebooting your computer. The Trainz interface will close down, but there's some file housekeeping going on in the background which if interrupted can affect your game.

hi and thanks, nope I am not from Mass. Havent restarted or rebooted and it is still happening. yesterday I added scenery, trees and new track and today they are all gone. it also seems to add sessions when I keep clicking on not to create a session..

Trainz will create a session as some vital information the route uses is stored there. When you open the route you have 2 layers, the route and session layers. Depending on which one is open, any work done stay's on that layer, depends on which assets appear. You can merge the layers to put everything onto one layer. When you open surveyor it is best to edit from the session attached to the route and then save and overwrite both the route and session. This will stop new sessions and also keep any information you put into the route safe.
