Saved sessions and faulty junction

2 questions, both kind of related.

Easy question first; Is it possible to export/import a saved session? I have a scenario with many hours in it and I'd like to maove it to a duplicate setup on my travelling laptop.

I have been able to do an entire folder copy using robocopy and that works well. I just have to do a quick database repair to get locations back aligned but it works. But can I just do a saved session?

Second (related) question. Often when I resume a session, there is 1 specific junction that goes faulty. (missing lever). The lever is there though! What can I do with that? What can I look for?

Thanks in advance!

Use CM to save the session as a .cdp file. Then import the .cdp file into Trainz on your laptop.

I have used CM for routes and sessions, but what about the "in use"? ones? The ones I would select to resume one in progress? can I export that?

Near as I can see, no, save games aren't assigned a KUID number so that info must be stored someplace else. Simplest way is to copy the entire TS12 folder over to the new computer.

Looks like Coconut God has answered your query on saving sessions,... but with the 'missing lever', it's usually caused by a break in the spline (not connecting 100% on the turnout). So why not rip up that section of track and re-lay it with a new turnout. That would be the quickest way to fix the problem. Once you've repaired it, save your Route under a new name (add a tag say 001). Test run it in Driver and if okay maintain that as your main Route. You can then safely delete the original Route with any imperfections.
