Save new route AND session.

I have imported my route from '19 and I need to make sure it is saved properly in '22, many programmed industries and scheduled consists at stake.
Options are - save new route and session which gives me the option to only name the route - or -save new session which greys out the route name.
Which way to go? or both to be safe.

The session is presumably a placeholder created by the game because you have no session currently. To be safe, you can save both. After verifying the saved route contains everything you want, you can delete the session.
