SARN4T Adelaide Line Full V1.1 For TRS2012 yet another one that looks like a great route untill you come to a clifff wall three tunnells are missing and i dont know how to make the track that goes over the hills go under them there are many routes on the downloads station that have this prob.It is very frustrating for us none route builders to run these routes also if a route is made in N Guage there are no stock to run on the rails if you place any loco from the download station the wheels sit eather side of the track and dont look real. A good chanch now for all N guage builders to proudice a cd with there routes on with rolling stock. went to are local PC world to day and the new rail Sim looks very good so may give it a try as i am one of many that just wish to run trainz and not build them for lack of Knowledge. Rant over Thank you guys for lisening.

Your reference to N scale (not gauge) .shows you have the wrong idea as to how smaller model scales are worked in Trainz. The track, trainz and assets all remain the same size, the only change is that the Surveyor ruler is adjusted so that track and asset positions measured off an N scale layout can be related to a Trainz route.

As Trainz has no reasonable limits on route size, there is no need for the spacial compression that makes N scale an attractive proposition in smaller houses.

Edit:- I see you have had a similar reply in your other thread.

Trying to make sense of the OP. Is this a route you downloaded or one you're trying to build (reference to making track go over hills)?

If the former, then be aware the DLS doesn't always catch all the dependencies on the first go. Some items might be faulty (in which case you need to fix them so they appear in the game) or have their own sub-dependencies which again the DLS doesn't always automatically acquire these days.

As regards rolling stock, as Peter says Trainz is very flexible allowing you to place and couple just about any type of rolling stock. The only time locos will sit with wheels either side of the track is if it's a narrow gauge route and you're trying to place standard stock - ergo download some stock for the appropriate track gauge.

Sir it is a narrow gauge route I am trying to download stock for but cant find were to download this stock from thank you. as to the track going over the hills i have found when i download a route many times you hit a rock face were a tunnel should be or the track has shot up over the landscape Again thank you for your time
