S&C Problem

I downloaded this and reistered the seriall number. The Launcher menu hasa number of choices but two don't function at all. The Content button doesn't light (nor function) and the Manual button lights but nothimg happens. Am I missing something? How would someone who is new to Trainz now know what to do?

You downloaded a stand alone program as such you wont be able to use the content button.
If you have WBE 09 you can integrate this with it then you would be able to use the content manager.
On its own you will only be able to click onto options and start.
Options is where you input your user name and password and you can also access display settings and advanced options .
When you click on start that will load in the program once loaded you will see Railyard this is where your Trams are displayed
Selecting Driver you will see the Route and Sessions ,select a session and see how the Trams run.
There may be a default session this is where you can select your own instructions in the bottom driver command box.

Thank you. I understand that. But this is sokd and packaged as a stand-alome program and one assumes that the Manual (n/a) will tell you how to use it. Would it have been so difficult to devise a Main Menu particular to StoC? And if you go to help it's even more confusing because there are some pdf's that have nothing to do with the game.
I don't want to make too much of an issue but when you Start you get the latest news telling you amonst other things to download SP1 which iI dutifully did and when I exected it I was told that it did not apply to my download.
And what about Extras? Sory but thay are not available.

It does seem to me that someone in marketing said "Why don't we ake this add-on into a game?" Why not indeed, but not with half measures. The experience with this may just be enough to turn away many more potential sales to not only other add-oms but also TRS2010.
