Had this pop up after downloading a 2TE10M from that DLS
- <kuid2:411122:75:1> : VE73: Image file '2te10m_art/2te10_art_icon.tga' is incorrectly used as both a texture.txt source file and a raw image file.
SP3 issue or has this kind of error shown up before?

You can change the reference to the art_icon.tga to art_icon.texture in your config.txt.

Save the text file.

That seems to have fixed the error but now that i've got the engine in game, I can't get it moving. DCC throttle wont move and while it shows i can click on that in cab mod, the throttle and reverser wont move either!.

That's another issue altogether. There's probably a startup sequence for the locomotive. I ran into that with a bunch of Russian trams. I fiddled with them for over an hour then gave up. The only thing I could do is move the wipers, blow the horn, ring the bell, and open the doors. After that, I gave up.

Spent the whole day downloading the damn thing, I now I gotta can it!

These are old versions, use my new ones, everything works correctly in them.

That wouldn't be the VTL trams by any chance? Really nice looking, decent cabs but impossible to get moving unless you understand Cyrillic. Likewise the other day I downloaded a Russian EMU by BUGOR. No way of getting it to run unless you understand the switch sequence. If the items are being offered up to the international DLC, then IMHO should have regionalisation with at least English as a second language.

Spot on Vern! Very, very beautiful assets with nice cabs and interiors, but...! :D

I agree. If I can find where the text tags are, I'll copy and translate them so they're followable. I agree if things are offered internationally, then they shouldn't be regionalized.

Are these engines set up for DCC operation? Cause I think the issue was that the engine i downloaded was set for cab mod only. hence all the switch flipping and button pressing. That and I and most other's don't know a lick of Russian.

Of course they work, I wrote about it above

They also work in the cockpit mode, this is all you need to control, no extra buttons and additional switches - sat down and went

Here you only need to know the direction selection (reverse), the set of thrust (throttle) and brake positions - that's it!
