Runtime error

Could you post a screenshot of what the error looks like. I'm sure someone here has seen it before. Also, what service pack are you running and what are your system specs?

Cheers

:)

Hi here is a screenshot of what the error looks like:

And I am running TS2009 SP3.

And for my computer the only spec I know is that it has an intel core 2 duo processor.

Thanks

The picture's too small to see clearly.

EDIT: I see you have now replaced the picture.

Looks like you need either the Visual C++ 2005 or Visual C++ 2008 redistibutables.

Picture is nice and big here. It appears as if you don't have the right version of the C++ Runtime Library (or an update to it) installed. You might check with the Microsoft site and see if thee are any updates.

I've just found another couple of possible reasons - registry issues, outdated drivers, or even a virus attack.

Watch out for the links in the article - they may do more harm than good.

I see people do not read my posts properly - it's the webpage itself that has the important information, not the associated links.

This is why I said to watch out for the links, as they can do more harm than good.

I downloaded the pareto logic but when I click fix the program dosen't respond and closes.

I also looked at the page Shane posted. It is quite likely you have just given yourself a bit of malware or worse, a virus. You should now run a scan with a good anti-malware produce (MalwareBytes is very good) and your anti-virus.

The page itself (not any of the links on it) contained several alternative reasons for your problem.

Check if you have them installed, control panel, programs and features or add remove programs, look for C++ 2005 redistributable and C++ 2008 redistributable, there is also a C++ 2010

OK - it may be worth looking into the following:

1.A possible malware attack - use a reliable antivirus tool to check this.
2.A misconfigured registry - CCleaner is a reasonable tool for this, but do get advice before using the tool.
