Running in Vista 64 bit

Hi all- Can anybody advise if Trainz 2006 and 2009 will install and run ok on Vista 64-bit ? I am new at this, ran a forum search but couldn't find the answer. Thanks for any help.

I don't know about 64-bit, but I do know that you have to install and run it in Administrator mode when running Vista.

Some people say you also have to disable UAC but others don't. Perhaps it depends on how you have Vista configured.

I don't know about Ts2006 as I have uninstalled it but Ts2009 runs fine on Vista 64bit, with no adjustments, John.

Just got the download version of 2009 and am using it on Vista 64. Generaly so far, seems to work OK, However I found I did need to reset my mouse pointer apearance to Widows standard. Anyting else and it was not visible when running TS2009

TRS2006 and TS2009 run fine in Vista 64-bit. You'll need to install and run the program as an Administrator so that the files will be written properly.

The programs run even better under Windows 7, which is the next generation of Vista. (My opinion). It loads quickly and the response is very nice overall.

By habit and virtue of being a system guru, I installed TS2009 with Admin settings in W7 also just to make sure I wouldn't have any problems.
