I am sure you are already aware of the following, so if I may remind you
1st to find missing dependencies I recommend the website trainzkuidindex.com, you have to register/login.
2nd to repair assets, install Pevsoft tools available from Shane Turner's website, links available on this forum or just type in Trainz Shane Turner into your browser.
Pevsoft not compatible with T:ANE (might have changed??) install and link to your version of Trainz. I do not know if compatible with Mac version of Trainz.
3rd check out the Trainz Wiki, at top of the Forum, see bar above for or Google Trainz_AM&C_Fixing _Assets. Either way should lead you to info for repairing assets.
4th from the Trainz wiki get Index of Tags and Containers, it is a list of data types found in the config.txt files.
5th on the trainz forum type in the search box the issue and hopefully it will take to the relevant fix.
6th some how to repair assets are available on youtube. Limited but it can get you started.
7th print out some asset config.txt files to see how they are set up.
Finally, Shane Turner started a thread/sticky for hints and tips. You may find help there.
My apologies for the 1st 2nd etc. It helps me stay on my ordered OCD track
