Routes Sans Baseboards?

I just downloaded "British Midlands" from the DLS. (The latest one, just uploaded.) Regardless of the imbedded screenshot, when I open the route in Surveyor it looks like this:

No baseboards, just floating stuff. Most routes come out just fine, but a few of them look and act this way. It's impossible to navigate around the board (in Surveyor). Is there a quick fix - something I'm missing, maybe an incorrect setting? I'm using Direct-X (the other graphic choice doesn't work with my machine).

It's not a big deal. The routes I've been creating work fine. It's just a weird anomaly I'm curious about. I usually delete DL'd routes that act this way, but I'll keep this one to try out any suggestions anyone may have.

I cant say for sure, but it sounds very similar to something I posted recently. http://forums.auran.com/trainz/show...ded-Route-blank-screen&highlight=blank+screen look around the bottom third for suggestions that worked for me.

Hey, thanks for responding. Well, there were three missing dependencies which were "unknown". Doing a google search turned up an article about routes for mobile devices, which makes it a dead end. I rooted around in explorer looking for weirdness, found a water = <NULL> which was creating a warning, deleted that line which killed the warning. Tried re-saving to update the build. Still coming up "blue". I'll keep fiddling with it...
