Good morning, I seem to recall that someone was DOING a route from Paddington to Bristol and possible Exeter, would appreciate any information. I live in Totnes so have a local interest. Thank you. (Totnes)

WCL1

I did the route from Paddington to Reading (actually out to past Theale). It's called WCL1.
There is a second section that I only part completed that is on the DS which runs out to the other side of Westbury.
I never made it any further due to a bereavement, I couldn't bring myself to continue with it, too many memories.

Angelah beat me to it. its a lovely route she has created and is very well put together. I did a very detailed route (Devon Lines, still working on it) from Exeter to Newton Abbot which i hope represents how the line looks. See the thread South Devon Lines you have a neighbour.

I am running the Paddington to Exeter route on my TRS2004. Originally it was Paddington to Bristol and then the extension was added.
All the track is laid but it was released without any scenery except the Bristol to Exeter portion.
Unfortunately I can't tell you who develloped the route or what the KUID is, perhaps you could search the DLS for PaddingtonBristol or similar names

Further to my post above I remember that the author sent me the unfinished route and I think it was in several parts which I merged together to form the one route. I have found it on my computer using VistaMare TrainzMap and the resulting KUID has five files in it, a config.txt, and a .BMK, .GND, .OBS, and .TRK. the map is 64MB in size and even if someone wanted it I have no idea how to send it given the size

Edit:- I can zip it which gets it down to 9MB but all the assets would still need to be downloaded, which I presume are listed in the Config.txt file

I think you are talking about widowmaker who did track only version from paddington to Bristol and then did do scenery down to Taunton. This route went via the northern way to Bristol from Reading. There is a flaw with the route in that somewhere the route should go further north than it does as the distance is correct but when placed with Angelah's dem route its several baseboards to wide. Ive joined all of the WCL together with mine and part of widowmakers at Taunton plus the commercial version of the minehead branch line from Bishops Lideard and the computer just about manages to run it.
