Route Merge Problem

I am new to Trainz and trying to set up a network of about 8 stations with twin tracks.
I am adding Regions using the merge option and have got about 20 connected but i need 3 more to finish
each time I try to add now however the program is closing down and even the crash notification program is also crashing
Is there a limit on merges or some easier method of expanding the overall route



my system Acer Laptop Windows 7 OS Home Premium 32 bit
4Gb Ram(Uses 2.93) 250Gb Hard Disk

johndoran 1: Don't use the Merge method to expand routes it uses to much energy..Open up surveyor, click on the topology..Their is a add button down towards the bottom..Right click on it and a pop up window will appear, now you can make a decision as to whether you want 5mm grid or 10mm..After you make the decision click on the check mark to continue..Now go to your edge of the table with your cursor and click and you have added table..Welcome..

success enlarging route

Got work done in about 30 mins which was taking hours originally
