(I'm new here to the forums, so please tell me if I'm doing this wrong) I'm creating a route based on the Illinois Central Mississippi line from the 1940s and my first baseboard was dedicated to the Billups Neon Crossing. I tried my best basing off of all the photos available and i just want feedback to see if there's anything i could add or change.

Mind you, I am on T:aNE so I don't got all of the fancy stuff that most of the cooler people have lol.

I am not familiar with the area, but I think it looks great. Lots of detail, and I like how you have added people and cars and life in general going on. Sometimes we get so focused on trains and track we forget to add a little life into our scenes. And that certainly is a unique crossing sign!

your doing fine with the route so far.. take your time with this route so you don't get easily burned out from route building. if you do get burned out from route building Do More Research on the route and see if you can dig up more information on it as well as photos... you can also look at Google Earth of the Area by looking at the area more in depth.. If you have a Library close by they usually have books or can find them for what you need.. take lots of notes when looking at books in general especially ones from the Library..
Minor suggestion as stated above by another member may i suggest changing the type of Vehicles you used to ones of the 1940's cause the ones you used on that baseboard are form the 1950 Time period.. All in all looks good so far..
