Route Conversion 04 to Tane

Hey Guys,
I can use a little help. I decided work on updating one of my 2004 routes to Tane.
I have the route showing up in Tane, but it refuses to SAVE changes, saying I should check disk space, which is obviously not the problem, or I wouldn't be asking.
Any ideas? Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm stumped.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Rick,

I too brought in my ca. December 2003 TRS2004 route into T:ANE. It was quite amazing and somewhat laughable seeing my inabilities back then, but the core of a good route was there.

Converting the older route to a newer version seems to work well by running the route through TS2009, TS2010, or TS12. For this particular route, I loaded the route in to TS12 without doing any updates, or deleting missing assets, and saved a new version which I then exported and imported into T:ANE.

What version T:ANE are you running. T:ANE SP3, the current iteration, fixes the saving issue, but in the event that you are using that, have you tried Save-As to save the same name and overwrite your current route?

That seems to fix that problem.

Thanks John, but I already tried running it through '12 thinking, well maybe... but no luck. The exact same issue. I can load the route and hit save, and all's fine. Until I touch it, then I'm done. Can't save or rename it. I'm using SP3.

UPDATE: I tried a new test...I went back into '12, saved the route with a new name and exported it. Installed it back into Tane, but the exact same problem. At that point, it was no longer an '04 route, but a '12 route and the thing still will not save

SP2 HF3 was notorious for this problem with write-access issues.

The problem was fixed in Service Pack 3 which came out a short while ago.

Hey John, you must have missed it...I have SP3
BTW, I installed it in '17 and it's fine. Saves perfectly, so the problem must be with Tane

Try cloning it in Manage Content, often fixes mysterious problems with routes.

Nope. Coned route still doesn't save. It saves in '12 and '17, but it sure doesn't like T:ANE. It's odd because other '04 routes saved just fine. Oh well...time to move on.
