"Rough handling" message issue

My consist is always jerking back and fourth and says "Rough handling"... any ideas on how to solve. And I am not driving like a maniac with the throttle :)

You didn't hear the packages of frozen peas loaded in the boxcars complaining about your driving? ;-)
@JCitron -
I threw a prompt into NightCafe for this, LOL.

This may be because once you get above about 40 MPH the locomotive is effectively loading 0 amps unless it's in the 8th notch and even then it's nowhere near what it should be loading. This is because transition as it exists in real life does not exist in Trainz. Basically your locomotives are not providing enough pulling power to keep the slack in the train stretched and the cars are running in and out on you depending on the grade and whether or not the cars are loaded.

These physics capabilities actually do exist in Trainz. I've noticed that the message is not as frequent when driving with Cab-control mode but occurs every time when using DCC-mode, aka "easy mode". With Cab-control mode, there is better physics and finer movements whereas DCC-mode has larger steps unless the knob is moved with a mouse.

And if you're running steam era British loose coupled goods trains it's darn near impossible not to get nagged at by the backseat driver no matter how steady a hand you have on the controls when driving from the cab.

I use DCC exclusively but the nag does not appear on every loco. On some it seems that it nags you at the slightest touch of the keys, but on others it appears only on extreme actions. I suspect that it *could* possibly be related to the engine specs, amongst other possibilities.

In any case I ignore it.

What is DCC? Is that when I use my mouse to move the throttles and horn and whatnot?
