Rolling Stock Contents

Is there a rule that makes it able to see whats in the rolling stock besides hiting ctrl then right clicking. ie: a display like a custom hud that lists whats in the rolling stock or empty and how much. while in the driver session so when running a train yard i can make it a little easier on how to classify the cars.

There is a command that tell you what a train is hauling how much the train is pulling (tons)if the cars are loaded or not.(this work in 12)
Now in 10 there is the emit train now rule that will give you a list of all the rolling stock that you have in your game. (built-in, DLed, and 3rd party)
It tell you what all each car will load with and how much it will hold.
For TrainProductInfo <kuid:478639:1058>
For Emit Train Now <kuid2:117746:990:4>
But the best way is to make a list of the rolling stock that you use and it default load. (the first product it produces)

thank you for the reply i will try them.

the big problem are consists that are in game i didnt create and im am trying to yard them out and trying to find a quick way of doing it.

im not sure but in real life the engineer has a list of cars to pick up and eithier load or unload or the contents already in them.

im just trying to make it easier to figure out trains brought in by a portal, and a consist that i downloaded.

You might want to take a look at David Petersen's (DAP) CMTM system which does just about everything you want and more. Unfortunately versions 1 and 2 do not work with multiplayer but he is working on a new version which will be compatible.

I have used both with DAP's Routes/Sessions on the DLS and on routes of my own. They can take a bit of setting up especially if the route is large, but it is worth it in the end.

If you are having problems check out his forum mentioned above as he has answered many questions that users have, if you can get in that is. There are also a lot of threads on this forum, just search for CMTM.
