Road Traffic and control

Hi,

Whilst waiting for my system to change some track (Thanks JCitron) I was watching the road traffic flow along a short stretch of road with a double junction (two left hand junctions close together) that led to a car park, and industry respectively and I noticed that 99.5% of the traffic went into the car park .4% went into the industry itself and the remaining .1 went via the through road to the town and it made me wonder if there is anyway to regulate the flow of these vehicles such that certain vehicles only say 1 in a 100 would go into the car park while 10 in that 100 would go to the factory and the rest go through to the town or end of road???

Would it also be possible to have a bus service that ran between station past the industry and stopped at certain points along the road????

Any thoughts?

Honestly no idea. Maybe invisible track, a drivable bus and stop at trackmarks ?

Road traffic will tend to take the route closest to the side of the road, i.e. left in the UK, Australia, Japan, India, New Zealand etc... and right in the US, Canada, France, Spain, Germany etc... so unless you put multiple road splines down, maybe make a lane for the Industry and a lane for the Town using two separate road splines (see AJS Invisible Traffic) I'm afraid, as you noticed, almost all road traffic will go into the Industry.

As for buses, I agree with fran1. Invisible track, trackmarks and driveable buses. Perhaps portals at each end to generate and receive a bus every 5 minutes or so...
