Probably a stupid question, but is it possible to ride in a coach on a train under AI control? And if so, how would I set it up?

don't tell others stupid. Everything is possible man by leap and bounds.
Tyler Bishop's (Flamerail) SBW cabooses (that I repaired, reskinned, and put on the DLS and others like BTVFD have reskinned as well) have interior views (pretty spartan, though, because there isn't a really clear mapping to follow) and "standing on the porch" views to ride along in also. I have his original mesh that I may someday remap to bring out the interior more. Of course, I've got WAY too much on my plate right now.
You've done a nice job with these, Scott. I use two of them on one of my routes that I drive. I find that when doing switching moves, I go for the ride back to the yard in the caboose while the AI brings me home.

MalcWorks for cabless loco's so try this. Add an attachment point a.cabfront with Pev's Attachment maker and assuming the coach has an inside, use an invisible interior with camera positions and add the tag outside-visible-from-cabin 1 to the config, add the the interior tag to the coach config.
