Do you have any specific questions? These can be answered here. The TRS2009 that is available today comes with lots of TRS2006, TRS2007 etc content. Not all of which works perfectly with the new engine. Basically in compatibility mode it's not bad, give it a bit of time and you should start to see more items for native mode.
Of the Train sims out there it has the wideset range of content, much is free on the DlS but don't forget to budget a first class ticket.
Price wise its a bargain at the moment. TRS2009 content is supposed to be here real soon now with the EE edition rather than the WBE edition.
