Reverting from 2010/2009 to 2004?

Well Im searching for a tutorial for this, and what the main changes are, so do I have to mess around with mesh files, or just with configs,enginespec and hornsounds?Id like to start with this part of changing trainz, maybe one day Ill do it to modelling

I would imagine a lot of work. Robin Hoods is the one to ask. He's backdated some assets, they're at TPR.
