Reversing trains

I put a consist of two 483 LMSO London Underground trains back to back onto the Waterloo and City route. When the train gets to the end of the route it reverses and comes back. But the driver and Cab View stay at the same end of the consist. How to get them to move to the other end of the consist (automatically)? People must do this all the time with DMU's and other consists with cabs at both ends.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.

There's no way to make a consist magically turn around on a single track. You could insert a turntable if the track terminates at a station or roundhouse, or add a siding and add the command Run Around Train to the schedule.

As it is the Underground I guess you are using a 'loco-each-end' consist with no need to run-around. I have only just made myself involved in the AI strangeness so I am no expert.

There is a rule that you can use to reverse the train direction without rotating the consist. I think this rule plus a lot of patience may provide what you want. I will try and find the KUID and post it here. Edit The thing you want is a Driver Command, creator 'Mutton', kuid:71155:60010

What you could do is ensure that each loco is separately identified, and then at the terminus use the 'change direction' rule, then tell the driver to change locos. That should put him in the new leading loco, hopefully with the right cab view.

Hi Mick_Berg,
You can use a drivercommand called "Run_Around_Ext".
When used with a engine drawn train, the engine will try to run around the train (as you would expect), but if there is an engine on both ends of the train it will move the driver to the opposite engine.
Note: don't be in cab camera mode when the command executes, or it will fail!
