Sorry Alan, for the very belated reply. I was just going through my old posts and realised that I had ignored your question, quite unintentionally.
I was using the DLS version of the Route, but don't worry, I have now corrected these problems, as the last thing I needed was for my road traffic to take to the rails, especially if there was a train coming!
