Hi all;
TRS2006
Running a session in Philskene's Downtown Traction Co.
As I go about completing various tasks I will perform frequent "saves" so that if catastrophe strikes, I can reload the last "save" and continue.
In this case I had about 8 or 9 "saves" when I had to quit out of Trainz for awhile.
Now we come to the problem:
At a later time, I went back into Trainz, went to "saved sessions", reloaded the last save and everything is just as I had left it--except the locomotive is totally "dead". The DCC speed control has no effect, the lights don't work,etc.
This is also the case if I reload any of the prior "saves" for this session.
If I quit out of the "save" and go back to routes and restart the original session, it works fine. If I now do some new test "saves" and quit and reactivate the new "save" it works OK. But those other non-operable "saves" stubbornly refuse to operate; and so all my good work is lost
I know this is probably not a fair question; but is this a known malfunction and was there any thing I could have done to recover my status ?
I have "run" many of Philskene's routes and have encountered this only once before many months back.
I have experienced considerable pleasure via Philskene's artistry; I'll continue on to the remaining sessions --past experience would indicate that the problem will not re-occur again on this route.
best regards, Ray
