John on the previous page mentions solid state. These are damn good if you pay the money for them. At the moment the best SSD's that I've seen are in descending order are Intel X25-E, Intel X25-M and OCZ Vertex. SSD's have the potential to shift data like **** of a teflon shovel, but one of the current problems is gb/$ ratio is high compared to HDD's. You also need to take into account how you are going to use them, downloading allot of files, especially p2p files can seriously degrade the performance of the drives. Also on toms hardware they noticed a performance degrade with the Intel SSD's and Intel i7 chips. They found out it was the processors advanced power saving states that where causing this, turning them of in the BIOS increased performance to expected levels. I think for drives you won't do any harm in sticking with a standard HDD from your preferred manufacturer, I prefer WD myself. I can say I've had no problems with Win7 64bit on my machine, and it runs TC3 fine and dandy. Very refreshing to be able to load the full S&C route with session in under 1min
