A tip for plotting tracks like that: use Google Earth's Ruler tool to measure distances - horizontal and vertical distance between points - then use Trainz ruler tool to measure the same distance in Surveyor. If you're careful you can get good results. You just need to plot a few key tracks on that layout, then add the rest by eye.
 
Basemap A-Z and Zero-9 are also handy for track laying...But manipulating them into place seems to need going into the Trainzoptions file and adding the phrase: -surveyorfov=35.....then you can edit the sorveyorfov to around =135 to =185 for a real wide angle view...but remember to set it back to surverorfov=35 when youre done with basemaps, or you will be way far out in a fisheye lens mode. Basemap images are easy to paste from your PC pictures file. Google Earth and topos work great in basemaps. I will go into detail if you request.
