rendering system failure

following a crash my trainz 2004 build 2365 ID 102016 I am unable to launch Trainz everything is shown in my programme files and I can access the DLS no problem byt on Launch I get a message "your computer and/or hardware is unable to communicate with trainz " this has me baffled how can I access DLS but not be able to get 23004 to run" any herlp really appreciated

This is the second time attempt to reply to this thread, for some reason the last reply disappeared after I sent it.

Check out the following links which may assist. If you try the tips there and still are not able to get it working, run trainzdiag.exe and dxdiag.exe and post the result here.
