registering serial number

Just bought trainz 12 and when I try to register my serial # it says I have no serial numbers in the data base.
I got this as a digital download from Amazon.com and have a serial # but have no idea how to register it.
Also bought a download ticket which is worthless unless I can register my serial #
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which version are you trying to register = there is a difference between TS12 and the Trainz 10th Anniversary Collector's Edition make sure you picking the right version a mistake i made
