Get over it
How large is a grid? Yds, ft or miles. I think I remember it being 720 yds sq. but I'm not sure. I've looked but can't find it in the manual. Thankz

Your memory serves you well!:p

The yellow grid lines are spaced 10 meters apart in north-south and east-west directions.

Each baseboard has 72 of these grid squares in each direction, making the baseboard 720 meters by 720 meters.

Bit of a contradiction there! It is indeed 720 metres and not 720 yards as stouthm said.

Wow thats something I never knew.

And it has always been that way although it would be nice to have a finer grid but a finer grid has it's own problems.

Hi Stouthm the board is as mentioned 720 metres - a metre is greater than a yard in this sense a yard consists of 36inches but a metre is 39.25 inches which would make a board 785 yards so you can use whatever calculation you prefer so in real scale with 1760yards to the mile you would need just under 2 and a quarter boards per mile hope this helps.
