Red Switches after saving session

Get over it
Been at this game a long time and this has me stumped. Reentering a saved session and some of the switches are all red. Yes, they are placed correctly because in the original session they work fine. So I relaid the track, grasping at straws here, and got the same results. Relaid the track in the opposite direction, more grasping, and same results. Checked everyting in wire mode and no apparent problems. Correct me if I'm wrong but if it has something to do with Layers wouldn't it not allow me to place the swiches in the beginning? Placing the switches is not a problem. As long as I run in the original session everything works fine. Only after I save it does the problem pop up. Any ideas or suggestions?
The route is 'Sherwood Mtn Railroad Updated' and is on the dls. Has anyone who has this route had any problems? Oh yeah, I uploaded it.

Yes, I agree with ct. I tried adding a session to a build-in route and found that in a session layer it is possible, even easy to add a spur at a convenient spline point. The problem comes with the switch lever, as if you put it in the session layer then it seems to work all right in the game but, when you save and resume the game the lever either doesn't work or is missing, but not in all cases.

In adding a session to a built-in route, the objective was to be able to upload only the session and this can be acomplished by saving the route and session to a new name and then deleting the route and changing the session map kuid to that of the original route. But then the switch lever problem came up on resuming the game.

Hi ct. It doesn't happen all the time, only sometimes. Did you save the new route and session then delete the route as I mentioned above?

I am a bit busy on a project right now but would like to take this further. Could I send you a mail when I have some time and send you the session that doesn't work, or would that be futile? I will have to locate it and check my facts first.
