Red/green arrows at switch are reversed

After I replaced some track and a switch in TRS06, I got an unusual result: the red and green direction arrows at the switch lever showed the wrong direction of travel.

When driving the train manually with the knob, the train would switch in the direction of the red arrow, not the green. When selecting trackmarks beyond the switch and letting the system run it, the train went in the right direction but the arrows were still wrong.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the switch's T-lever, reversing the side of the track on which the lever was installed, shutting down and restarting Trainz and, finally, rebooting the computer.

Any ideas why this might happen? Thanks for your suggestions.

You might have got the tracks slightly "crossed" just after the lever, this is normally the cause of the problem.

itareus is correct. It may be hard to see and you may have to zoom in really close, but the tracks don't initally branch the way that you think that they are. Once you zoom in, you'll see that they initially branch the opposite direction and then cross back over the tracks in the direction that you intended. This can happen in a curve sometimes.

In a curve is exactly where this is happening, plus I added a spline and pushed one track toward the other to smooth the connection.

I'll take a close look and redo it tomorrow. Thank you both for your help.
