reveived the dvd just a moment ago
would that made me the first european, or at least the first dutch man having this dvd?
So far nobody else has spoken up about getting a copy

However I have installed and updated 12 with no problems.
By the way if you hold the black tin at an angle in the light you will see an impression of locomotives on the front and rear of the tin. Pretty cool.
Hope yours arrives soon.
Is it worth it?
For myself I have no regrets. Came with everything as described in the advert, albeit without the golden ticket. 10 buyers will be the lucky ones.
First impression, nicely packaged. No suprises there.
Things to note are that the poster is a high quality adertisement. Would you frame it. Probably not.
However registration of the product is recognized as the Anniversary Edition.Included is the Manual in book form. This is a welcome touch. It is also available in PDF format on the disk so everyone who purchases 12 will get the new manual. Personally I like the printed manual as TRAINZ does not allow the use of another programme whilst it is running.
Is it worth it?
To some it will be and to others it wont. For myself it didn't matter a whole lot. I took the view that it was like a club subscription. I have enjoyed using the software for around 8 years now and have payed my dues.
Looking forward to the next version of TRAINZ, but hopefully not too soon. Need to get into this one first.

Mine arrived on Monday but no golden ticket...

My Collectors Edition arrived today! Guess what I'm spending the evening doing?
No complaints yet (no doubt there will be plenty of bugs to be squished) but we shall see. Main disapointment is no British steam but the Dutchess and S&C should fix that. Oh, and no Golden Ticket (rats! but that's always been my luck).

I got my SE DVD on Wednesday if that helps (4/5/2011) and found out how easy it is to scratch while taking the shrink wrapping off. So far, I've spent 0 hours in 2012 as I am soo overloaded with uni work, although the more I do, the more I want to play with trains!
