Really Nice Signature Banners

Sorry but what's the point of all this? It sounds like a bunch of wanna-be hall monitors. Leave it up to the moderators on this one, I think they are at least somewhat equipped to handle signature size compliance... It scares me that how out of all possible concerns with the moderators here, their failure to ensure signature CoC compliance is of people's chief concern.... And then the fact that people are so proud of their contribution to the community that they feel the need to post here about how great they are at reporting posts. As rude as it is I think the phrase "no life" is very appropriate here. All the wasted energy towards messing with signatures could be used so much better elsewhere... I wish I could self-appoint myself to something with as much prestige as "signature dimension enforcer," I've got a long way to go...

Happy Trainzing!

The Problem is where are the mods - and it not just banner size thats out of control the swearing and other rubbish is amazing. But we have to fix the small things first before moving on to the bigger stuff.

If you do a last on fourms search you will notice that the last time some of the appointed mods were on was over 2 years ago and the mods we do see now and then, it can be up to 3 weeks between visits.

I am still surprised that this thread alone has not been closed.

And no I have nothing else better to do with my time I am only doing what my "team leader" told me to do - the job of harrasing people on Facebook went to someone else.

My Beta testers don't miss a trick Alberte!

Take those shades off for more than 2 seconds and take a closer look.

I prefer sigs, that cannot be seen!

I need some new glasses, Casper :hehe:

Going back to the roots... ;)

Already shown by the initiator, this one from friendly Swiss Patricia is clever and elegant, like TRS2004; I fancy it a lot...

More roots...

Dave[eldavo]'s one is oldie but goldie. Strongly classical and straightforward. No concession to detail but to contents. Yes, old-styled but powerful. Electric blue background gives potential and sincerity.

The payware people tend to be succinct and sensible. Some of them use animated .gifs which is a way to communicate a lot of things at the same time and placeholder with a minimum cost of Kbs.

This one from VMD's old-timer Steffen Gross is a nice sample...

For me it’s a matter of principle , the forum owners have stated many times that any breach of the COC would not be tolerated, if you going to impose rules and not enforce them what the point of having them lets just get rid of them.

I was banned 3 times for having over size sigs.

The forums are of late starting to slide from the high standard we used to have and I feel a line needs to be drawn. I may get people annoyed at me but how hard is it to follow the COC, if you do not agree to the rules why use the forums.

And here you go again. You make it just too easy for me. Although this time I'll just hold back, and instead just leave you with a one liner:

**** off.

And what is your problem, unless you are violating the CoC?

If you do not like us trying to remind users of the rules, then you do not have to come here to these forums.

Regards.

Guys
Time to calm down...

This has been gone over before, many times... We do allow some leeway in signatures... However, lately, we have been a little pressed which has meant that many 'minor' reports have slipped through.

However, I will be making attempts to look into oversize signatures soon. Please remember that you do agree to abide by the COC by using the forums. If you don't agree with it, then no one is forcing you to use the forums.

We do feel that an 800 pixel wide by 100 pixel high signature is more than enough, and there have been many great signatures that have fitted within this size.

As above, we will be looking into oversize signatures in the near future.
