Reading Company 2102

One of my close friend rode behind 2102. When it was still in service on the Blue Mountain and Reading days.

if you want me to,I'll tell them that he is at it again because it appears that he is not getting it,no matter how many times we try to get him to listen!;)

I think that might cure a lot of headaches around here. I hate for it to be done, but dpfan1 just doesn't seem to get it.:(

That's just my opinion, but I'm sure I speak for quite a few others here,

That will probably help kill one of these pointless threads that were started by him,I'll see if if I can get either Zec or AJ to close it!;)

Other Worthless Trivia

The EBT RR "Fall Spectacular" is Oct 8-9-10 this Fri, Sat, Sun. http://www.ebtrr.com/events.html
The leaves are not as colorful this year, and are falling off prematurely, only turning yellow and brown. Drought, Summer Heat, and cooler weather has had a severe impact on the trees reds and orange colors. Blah !

This comming up weekends weather forcast looks to be: partly sunny, to sunny, and autumn jacket weather.
Get out and about, before ... the "white bugz" start flying round the streetlamps (Snow).

Yes, let's close this thread. But let us also remember that you too, UP5521, make many pointless and otherwise un-entertaining posts and threads on a regular basis.

DP,
Please try using a search function. I know you are young and have that burning desire to learn more about this great hobby, but please, it gets old around here.
I know this looks like the place, but it isn't.
I suggest subscribing to Trains Magazine and various other magazines, like Railfan & Railroad which can keep you up to date on current rail news and give you information about the past. Maybe that would help?

Just my Thoughts,
Woody

That would be neat to see 425 up to Sayre but probably won't happen because NS still owns the track beyond Mehoopany and leases it to Lehigh Railway. RBMN turned down the first offer by Conrail back in 1996 to acquire that portion. If they owned it outright then they MIGHT run excursions on it. But, as of now, no. They only acquired the Towanda-Monroeton branch from TMSL not the main line ex-LV from Mehoopany to Sayre. NS still technically owns it but leases it to Lehigh Railway. Maybe they could bring 425 up to Towanda sometime and run short rides to Monroeton on track that they now own? It would be about 4-5 miles each way for a 9-10 mile round trip. That's an idea. If NS or Lehigh Railway lets them transport their train between Mehoopany and Towanda, however. There still is a possibility that NS could sell Mehoopany-Sayre to RBMN if Lehigh Rwy. fails or bows out, or the lease runs out. That part of the ex-LV between Pittston and Sayre is very scenic running along the Susquehanna River.
