He had some really cool concepts and I'm glad that some came to fruition. Think of the NYC Hudson's the N&W J's and other locomotives and trains, not counting the automobiles, toasters, and other things.

Sorry John, but he didn't do those things. The Hudsons were done by Henry Dreyfus, while the J Class was done by N&W themselves.

However, he did do the Streamlined K4, PRR T1, PRR S1, and Baldwin Sharknose Diesels.

He also finished the GG1, by giving it a welded skin, which makes a big difference in the styling.

In fact Loewy is remembered as one of the most accomplished designers of the twentieth century, and there are many examples of his influence over the modern world. Loewy would lead the team contracted to restyle the Pennsy's passenger equipment and devise the theme for it's own 'Fleet of Modernism' for use on it's flagship 'The Broadway Limited' and other blue ribbon services.
