As the title says my computer developed the habit of rebooting without any error message while in Trainz.
I checked the usual culprits, PSU (swapped), memory (swapped), heating, CPU cooling (cleaned everything) and everything looked right, but still the problem persisted. This did not occur when running any other programs, only Trainz 2004 and 2006
As the reboots seemed to occur when the video card was required to redraw the window, I tried a last resort, I bought and fitted a new card and lo and behold, the problem went away.
Experts told me that this could not happen, but it did, a faulty video card can cause random reboots.
Thought you would like to know that in case it happens to you.
Cheers
