railroad fail shots

skol587

hey all I'm back
alright i feel like starting a thread of fail shots they can be from trainz or real life but they have to based on railroads.

this is why the swanton pacific railroad is called the lazy sp because even the equipment is lazy and there are a abundance of supervisors

Failure to install a rear view mirror on your rail bicycle could bring a whole new meaning to: "locomotives that would have been seen in your rear view mirror, are closer than they appear" !

Woops

That must have sounded really LOUD, like a BIG Woops ! One night at 2:00AM in the yard, my radio crackled to life: "Stop,Stop,Stop". Then the yard master asked what location I was at, and was I OK ? And: "DID you ONCE have a brown Chevy, parked in the back lot, right by the tracks" ? Here the nightshift was shoving TTX cars into the yard, and the thing jack knifed, and the rails were all twisted up in the air like bent up pretzels, as high as 15' in the air. The foreman later told me: "I was sound asleep, with my dark glass's on, all cranked back in the chair, when all of a sudden the whole place shook like an earthquake, it sounded like an atom bomb had gone off". "It sounded like the cars were going to come crashing right through he building, I fell outa the chair, an almost broke my butt , I think I gotta go check my britch's" !

That pic is of a new car turned into a hood ornament. A semi tractor trailer tried to beat the train and failed. The train hit the trailer, and that one car got stuck on it.

When you gotta go you gotta go :hehe:

I didn't realize it myself, but the link provided above by smash (thanks) shows that the train struck a car carrier at a crossing, and that particular new car got hung up on the loco. I didn't see this before (because my eyes are failing too), but you can see the sticker on the car's window.
