Cool! I get it now: you probably reskinned that built-in Australian rural crossbuck. You did a great job on it; the drawings for the crossbuck in thge 1935 MUTCD are shaped very close to that, if not identically shape. This might even match the late 1920s AASHO/whatever manuals (I will have to check). Just to let you know, the "Stop When Swinging" sign would have probably been added after the crossbuck and stop sign were placed, for the font used on it is one of the modern FHWA Series fonts, introduced around 1945. Which might not be so unrealistic, given that the crossbuck with stop sign might have been installed before the wigwag signals were installed.

Finding one of those wigwag assemblies with the even older crossbuck/stop sign configurations in modern day would be a treat to a signalfan/wigwag hunter!
