Asside from the rock texture repetition...the overall effect brings back many fond days railfanning there...Good Job !

Try rotating textures slightly for one place to another, so they don't look repetitive, or hold own on the " [ " key while applying textures.

thats a rock cliff spline not a texture thats why its looks the same. and IC i got the yellow gons from RRMODS and other gons are by MADDY25 on the DLS. tankers are by yutzk on DLS too.

The repeating rock face is a bit much. Perhaps stick a few different splines here and there to make it look a bit more random

That cliff face reminds me of Easter Island for some reason. I would expect to see Squidward wandering around there somewhere.....

That rock cliff reminds me of the NS 2nd Division-The Rathole at Kings Mountain...

 Great work lsstaten!

The wall is ok...the different colors all lined up @ equal height suggest layers of different strata of rock & maybe a little bit of coal.

The grid lines are not straight however it suggests a series of drilled & dynamited cuts in the rock. I am impressed by the overall effect.

You could however move the wall back about the width of track, say 30ft to allow space for Falling Rock...you never know when he may show up...:hehe:

Just-kidding...just-kidding...just-kidding...just-kidding...just-kidding!

More Sceenshots PLEASE...We all love Sandpatch ! That tunnel on the prototype has sound effects like on "Back to the Future" movie-a 15 foot Woofer ! I love train watching there !:cool:Exept the skeeters are real bad there in summer months.

Very cool. I have some cool pics in my one book of an N&W Y6 doing the same thing. The route looks really realistic by the way.

WOW!! Incredibly detailed, almost lifelike!! You got a KUID for the camera guy??;)
:hehe:

They're probably are out there already, I'll have to remember to look for some when (/if?) I start to lay track instead of just crashing trains.

Reminds me of the red rock around Sedona, AZ
