railfanning at SANDPATCH

Sandpatch West Portal

We railfanned where the photographer is standing in your photo, odd mossy, mooshy, patch of star shaped, ground cover, we got eaten alive by mosquitos there. They were living in the moss. How long is your route ? Cumberland to Connellsville ? Looks great !

You know, if that's not a payware spline, perhaps you could adjust the color a bit and get permission to release it to match the real pictures. Just a thought...

Connellsville,PA to Baltimore,MD.plus Cumberland,MD to Grafton,WV.yeah big route. was thinking about doing that Eupod. the spline isnt payware its on the DLS

WOW....That last pic is very stunning....:Y:...Keep up the good work and keep posting pix

Is that the East Portal of Sandpatch ? The rugged topography of the area is really close to the tracks (no side clearance), and is a really weathered filthy area. Alot of modelers make golf course green scenery, when in fact the area is actually very rocky cuts and has little or no side clearance at all. Git Er Dirty !

cas its the west end portal. im going to rock it up once i find the right rock textures for it. took out the rock spline at the west end portal tho.

I understand...

 ...that happens too, sometimes!

However this pic is the Pic Of The Week...!

I wonder how long the train was...?

The lead unit has no dynamic braking capability. Therefore if db is needed, it must to be operated from the trailing unit...

Great Pics...

 Your coming along real well with th'patch...

I like the fact you chose to common GP38 locomotives in about one of my fave schemes, the Bright Future, to power your impeccable BethGon rebel scheme coal cars!

Yea, ya gotta scramble the trees, the second pic up from this post, low hill shots, look like the citrus groves of Central Florida!
