Rail sound?

Good morning/afternoon/evening fellow Trainz nutters!

As I hope most of you Brits will be aware, there is a certain type of train that is used in England. It's basically a bus body on a 4-wheel truck with a cr*p load of springs on each wheel, making for a delightful ride! There's just one problem, the built-in clickety-clack sound is made for a train with bogies (and rightly so), so the 156 sounds good but the 142 sounds not realistic at all.

In real life, the 156 sounds like this: clack clack, clack clack clack clack, clack clack.
The 142 sounds like this: clack, clack clack, clack, clack clack, clack, clack clack, clack, as demonstrated by this screenshot of the wheelbase:

I was wondering, is it possible to make a Pacer clickety-clack sound file? I know there's a very realistic sound file for the FGW MK3 set, which sounds absolutely amazing, especially from a tracking shot on the side of the line. Is a Pacer one possible, that changes as the speed increases?

What assets have you already obtained for your Pacers, anything available on WEN's site, or, a 3rd party site anywhere else. On the DLS there are some misc. assets for a Class 141, including another bogey from Dom Sarto, is this any good? I assume that making your own soundpack isn't a viable option, if not, then, experimentation I think is the order of the day, find a bogey sound from the DLS, even if it's one for a Y25, European bogey, or, German, Polish, loco/wagon and see if any of those work for you, you can listen to the sound when you open the asset up in your CMP, if it doesn't sound right, delete it and install another, there might be something lurking around that fit's the bill, then, you can tweak the config file for the bogey, so, the sound is added, and away you go.

I agree. N3V should script the clickety-clack sound to connect it not with a.limfront but with a.bogX (X=0,1,2,...), and have a short (< 1.5 sec) sound clip play every time the bogey attachment point advances a specific distance.

@ex-railwayman: I am going to attempt to download some content from Wen's site and test it all out, but Trainz is currently performing an EDR so that may be a while :(

@williamb73: I also would love to get rid of the clickety clack sound on junctions, it sounds far too unrealistic :(
